Occupational Health and Safety Policy

Safety Plus is committed to ensuring, as far as possible, the health and safety of all persons involved in any company project or on company property.

The company management, employees, subcontractors, customers and visitors shall strive to ensure that all members on or off site but associated with company activities are provided with a safe and healthy environment at all times within the company capabilities.

No individual or group shall undertake or direct work in an unsafe manner or situation.

Occupational Health and Safety Policy shall prevail as a prime consideration in the planning and processing of any work and the company and its participants shall encourage, prepare and provide safe working practices.

Safety equipment will be provided, maintained and renewed for use by employees and subcontractors whilst involved in company projects.

Where necessary machinery will be signposted with necessary safety directives and these directives must be followed by all employees or subcontractors.

The company will ensure initial and on going training on uses of equipment and safety practices will be carried out and only trained staff are permitted to use relevant equipment.

The company will appoint a Rehabilitation Provider and a Rehabilitation Co-ordinator and supply First Aid equipment as required by Legislation.

This policy will be reviewed based on the commitment of the company to strive for continuous improvement in all company policies and practices.
